Henrik comes from Mosjøen in the county of Nordland and has a master in performing guitar at the Tromsø Conservatory of Music (Musikkonservatoriet).

In addition to playing the electric guitar and acoustic guitar, Henrik plays other string instruments such as baritone guitar and lap steel. The latest content in his toolkit is a pedal steel guitar.

Henrik masters all musical genres and has experience from e.g. big band, varity shows, TV and several big cultural productions. He has also worked within studio technique/producing/mix and graphic design.

Henrik has played with a number of artists, musicians and band such as Freddy Kalas, Patti Russo (former voc in Meat Loaf), Vidar Busk, Ingvar Olsen (Idol-winner 2014), Lars Andreas Aspesæter, KM Myrland, Steinar Krokstad, Morty Black (Morten Skaget), Arne Benoni, Arvid Martinsen, Jan Gunnar Hoff, Ernst Wiggo Sandbakk, Kalle Urheim, Hildegunn Øiseth, Emma Elliane, Georg Buljo, Jakop Janssønn, Finn Guttormsen, Kåre Kolve, Karoline Amb, Ida Kjeldsberg, Harstad Fribyorkester / United Divergence, The Pink Floyd Project, Arctic Band.

 

In 2018 he received Statkraftprisen “Ung Talent Nord” at Hemnesjazz.
